Since middle school I have had an interest in the German language and culture, and because of that interest I took classes in the subject all throughout high school and my time at college so far. I go to the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH and am currently enrolled in their 4-year program, majoring in Mechanical Engineering and German Language. This summer I have decided to study abroad in Berlin as part of my University's "Berlin Program". During my time in Berlin I will be documenting my travels, encounters, and general experience in Germany. I hope to make at least a few posts per week here as a part of this blog. Thank you for taking an interest!
From top left to bottom right horizontally.

(3) A building facade, I like this because it shows the collage of architecture in Berlin
(4) The grounds of Sachsenhausen, a former Nazi work camp
(5) Random bear, but I keep finding them and I think they are awesome
(6) My favorite picture that I have found so far, taken in the National History Museum
Just random pictures from walking around the streets, taking pictures of friends or just pictures that didn't fit into any other category
Some pictures of the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, first used during the Olympic Games during Nazi German rule in 1936. Next, a picture of a Koi pond in a beautiful German park, and finally, a picture of an amazingly well preserved ship from the 1700's.
Thanks for your interest in my semester abroad. For more information, feel free to get in touch and I will get back to you soon!
